If you need more detail to work out both electric vehicles and the mileage to build into tenders, then I've grouped both sheets into this small bundle:
1. Fuel vs. Electricity Cost - Work out the monthly cost of fuel and electricity if interesting in making the change from petrol / diesel. This also then shows the saving or extra cost of both and can be updated in seconds for different cars, time or year or fuel / electricity cost change.
2. Car and Van Mileage Calculator - Work out the cost per month and per mile to add into tenders. Combine with the Overhead and Proft percentage from the "Margin Sheet" (item 3 below) and you'll be able to include your profit into mileage. This can then be done specifically to the site location(s) or simply spread as an average per day through the year.
3. Markup and Margin Calclator - Work out what overhead and profit percentage to add on net costs at tender. When this is calculated, the percentage can be added to your car and van calculator. This makes sure that vehicles are not diluting profits from your tender. This is common and business owners don't realise as they see vehicles a "cost of doing business", yet rarely charge for it.
