If you don't have an idea of what is expected to come in and out of your business, then you can't really tell if any problems are on the horizon. This template is set to forecast the next 12 months of your business and with a little editing you can do it longer (or shorter) term to suit your needs.
Simply start with the balance for your bank account and then start to populate incoming and outgoings. The sheet will put data from the "detail" tab through to the summary and give you a month by month position.
